Textural photography
My portfolio is progressing throughout my second year, this is the final half before i go to university. In this half of the second year, I have explored more photography and digital editing, because it is what I am going to study in further education.
This was the beginning of a new brief for the second year. The brief is the "Final Major Project", this will be the last brief I do before I go to university and specialise in photography. This workshop entailed the experimentation of textural photography, through the exposure of the technical aspects of adobe Photoshop. I carried out photography, focusing on capturing texture, in the urban environment, this was also including typography. I therefore collated and overlapped these, thorough digital editing to create textural typography and photography. My skills and refinement of photography and definitely set in stone now, i have learned most aspects, which this course includes and I have therefore found what I like specialising in the most. This style of photography links to various parts of my portfolio, including close up and crisp photography, which was is one of my strengths in this subjects area and have not touched on it since the first year!

Mediums: Photography - DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) camera - Canon EOS 90D with a 50 mm lens, digital editing - Adobe Photoshop and Light room
